Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Specialty: ICU Location: Valdosta, GA 31602-1735 Shift: Night Shift (3x12 Hours) - 19:00 to 07:00 Duration: 12 Weeks CICU RN - 3, 12.00-Hour (19:00-07:00) 1st timers okay 2 years experience Patient Age Group -Adults -Geriatrics Float Required: -ICU. CPU; float to PCU and very rarely float down to MS/Tele but will only have 4 patients Weekend Shifts: - 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule Medication System: -Omnicell Documentation System: -EPIC Patient Diagnoses: -cardiac diagnosis including cardio thoracic surgical patients (travelers do not take fresh open heart patients) -There are 8 beds designated as cardiac progressive (stepdown) on this unit. -Nurse to Patient ratios in this area are 1:3-4. -All staff rotate days on Stepdown. Certifications: -ACLS -BCLS -CCRN (Preferred) Skills: -Interpretation of dysrhythmias -Management of dysrhythmias -Continuous IV sedation (Preferred) -Procedural Sedation Administration (Preferred) -Care of Ventilated Patient Called Off -8 Rule: 8.00 hours per 2 week -10 Rule: 10.00 hours per 2 week -12 Rule: 12.00 hours per 2 week Comments: -8 hour shifts - incrementally up to 8 hours per 2 week period -10 hour shifts - incrementally up to 10 hours per 2 week period -12 hour shifts - incrementally up to 12 hours per 2 week period Guaranteed Hours: -8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week -10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week Comments: -3, 12 hour shifts - 36 hours -4, 12 hour shifts - 48 hours
