Certification Details AHA BLS/NIH/AHA ACLS required AHA only (Instructor or Provider); RQI accepted Job Details 36/48 schedule No Call Floating Required Job Requirements 2 years of experience Accepts 1st time travelers AHA BLS/NIH/AHA ACLS Traveler’s permanent residence must be 100 miles or > from the hospital’s service area General orientation will begin on Sundays Sunday will be online CBLs Start any Sunday that compliance documents are completed by the deadline Schedule Information Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty Additional Details Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession Clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health
