Join the 1 hospital in Wisconsin We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the remarkable, highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team on the Pediatric Intensive Care unit Nurses on this state of the art 21-bed unit care for children from newborn to adult. PICU nurses provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a wide variety of both medical and surgical problems. Problems include: acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi system organ failure, and ECMO. Job Requirements Minimum of two years of pediatric ICU experience required. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Traveler must have Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license from their permanent address state. Schedule Information Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions). Unit Specific Information Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the travelers assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
