Job Details Medical Solutions has a great opportunity for an Oncology RN. 17 weeks Days - 7A-7P Job Requirements 2 years of experience required in specialty. No first-time travelers. Schedule Information Shifts - 6:45-7:15. Weekend Requirement - Every other weekend. Holidays - Rotate in with staff. Unit Specific Information Unit - Oncology-7th floor and outpatient, travelers will only work on the floor. beds - 29 beds. Ratios - 1:5, on occasion 1:6. EMR - Meditech. Charge Nurse - Charge Nurse out of the staffing grid unless unusual circumstances. Nurse Aides - Yes, generally 3 per day. Scrub Color - Caribbean Blue. Tele - Yes, central monitor, not a requirement to read strips. Floating - Rarely, to medical acute. Floor specific orientation - 3 days. Common diagnosis/Types of patients - Acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, end of life care. Additional Details 75 mile radius from the traveler's driver's license to the facility. Outpatient area patients will come to the floor and finish treatment if running late and outpatient area closes.
