Certification Details Required Certs: ACLS, BLS, PALS Preferred Certs: TNCC Required Skills: Trauma level 1, Pediatrics & Adult care, Central line care/management, IV vasopressors, Care of Ventilated patients, Chest tube management, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocols Job Details Position: PACU RN – 60% Adults 40% Peds Ratios: 1:2 Days/Nights/Weekends Pt Age Group: Neonates-Geriatrics Valleywise is the only burn center in Phoenix – they see very acutely ill pediatric and adult cases and they are looking for skilled pediatric and adult critical care nurse Job Requirements Min Years of Exp: 1 year PICU OR ICU and 1 year of phase 1 experience in a mixed peds/adult PACU at a level 1 trauma hospital. Could also be RN with a mix of PEDs and Adult PACU experience but they must have both in work history. Schedule Information Weekend REQ: varied – discussed during interview On-Call REQ: 4-6 call shifts per 6-week schedule.
