POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports the monthly close cycle through analysis and reporting, creates and implements standard reporting, prepares ad hoc analysis when necessary, and supports Asset expansion or acquisition as a key Finance resource with little managerial oversight.

Profitability analysis of new business, revenue improvement, and cost saving opportunitiesPrepare various Ad hoc financial and / or complex business analysisReview and interpretation of Trend AnalysisAbility to Perform Special Projects

Ad hoc analysis construction and presentation New Business Development modeling and support where requiredProject analysis, review, and recommendationAbility to Prepare and Communicate Budgeting, Forecasting and Analytical Activities

Preparation and distribution of input templates for Regional Sales and Operational Cost budgets and forecastsRegional Variance Analysis and ExplanationPrepare and Submit Regional Financial Reporting PackagesFinancial Statement Review and Reporting

Prepare Month-end Reporting Package and drive additional methods of tracking performancePerform Regional Sales Analysis as well as detailed customer profitability where requiredResearch and Prepare Variance Analysis and ExplanationRoll-forward and itemized walk-forward analysisPerform other duties as assigned.

Previous SAP knowledge is a plusPHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Must be physically able to perform work assigned.Must be physically capable of accessing all plant, terminal, and office locations as needed.Tolerate working outside in weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.Will be working in an office, mining, and lime processing environment.The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles.The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.Able to lift up to 50 pounds.Must be able to travel up to 10% as needed or directed by leadershipREQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, am Economics and/or equivalent proven work experience in the fieldPREFFERED EDUCATION:

Graduate work is a plus; MBA/CPA preferred.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Must have 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, in corporate, banking, manufacturing and/or mining environment.PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:

Four (4) plus years of experience in public/private accounting, finance, in private equity, mining, cement, chemical, manufacturing, construction or process environments.
