Certification Details REQUIRED: ACLS, BCLS, NIH certifications Certifications such as AHA-RQI and AHA instructor cards are acceptable PER DIEM ONLY: Required for Telephone Triage/Call Center Review the required certifications for techs, allied and non-clinical roles Job Details RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR Runs more like an ICU. Strong drip experience is a must Target Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1 Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays 36 or 48 Hours can be offered. If Accepting 48 Hours, No OT will be billed until After 48 Hours 12 HR DAYS; 06:45 - 19:15 Float Requirement: Floating required as needed to sister unit which is an ICCU also. Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 2 yrs of Experience Needed Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers. Locals Accepted REQUIRED Skills: must have experience with arterial lines and titrating vasoactive drips, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleurevac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions ACLS, BCLS, NIH certifications required, as well as, experience with IV start, telemetry and conscious sedation. Schedule Information 12 HR DAYS; 06:45 - 19:15 Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND No Overtime will be billed until after 48 hours for those accepting 48-hour schedules No Block Scheduling RTO: 7 days MAX for Auto Offer Unit Specific Information Cardizem, Nitro, Precedex, Cardene, Levophed, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Neo drips given on unit Only one pressor drip per patient, any more and they're transferred to ICU Bedside telemetry monitors with remote backup Nurses must be able to recognize and treat dysrhythmias Pyxis and Epic systems used on unit
