Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $3,348 per week

Certification Details Certs: BLS, PALS, ACLS Prefer advanced burn life support certification. Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced ICU nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 3 full years of experience, 6 months to 1 year of ICU Burn experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS and CA License. ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE CERNER EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL EXPERIENCE. Job Requirements 3 full years of ICU nursing experience. 6 months to 1 year of ICU Burn experience. Holds active BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications. Active CA License is required. Cerner experience is a must. Travel experience is needed. MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF BURN EXPERIENCE IN A BURN UNIT Schedule Information Contract length is 13 weeks. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Holidays: Work 2 out of 3 holidays. Shifts: 6a, 6p. Floating to other units may be required. On-call requirements may apply if census drops. Unit Specific Information Unit: Burn Unit - Ratios: 1 to 2 (treated as an ICU) - Nurse Aides: Nohave a burn tech - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Scrub Color: Navy blue - Vents: Yes - Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts in burn unit, 1 shift PICU or ICU and 1 shift peds - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Primary burns (ICU level to med surg level) for adults and children - Floating to PICU, peds or adult ICU may be required. Additional Details Basic EKG interpretation test assigned during orientation. Critical care RNs will have more advanced testing. Prefer nurses with advanced burn life support certification.
