We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Response Nurse to play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and responding to urgent clinical situations across the hospital. This leadership position requires someone who is calm under pressure, independent in decision-making, and excellent at communication and collaboration. You will be a key resource for clinical teams, working closely with the Administrative Director and building strong relationships with providers. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a natural leadership mentality, this is the role for you.Shift: 12 hour night shift 7-7:30Schedule: full time and part time flexible self-schedulingKey Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary responder to MSET, Rapid Response, STEMI, inpatient Stroke Alerts, and Trauma Activations.- Collaborate with providers and escalate care as needed to ensure patient outcomes.- Assist with assessments, mentoring, and provide expert advice to clinical staff.- Respond to MEWS and high-risk patient calls, providing real-time critical support.- Round on high-risk patients and assist with sepsis screening and rapid response reassessments.- Facilitate clinical debriefs and closed-loop communication for continuity of care.Qualifications:- RN with advanced critical care or emergency care required.- Exceptional communication skills and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.- Strong critical thinking, quick prioritization, and independent decision-making abilities.- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead without formal authority.If you are an experienced nurse with the drive to provide life-saving care while being a key leader in the hospital, apply today!The Inova RN:- Provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.- Consistently provides safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way.
