Description of Services & Deliverables

The Customer requires the services of one Project Manager to work under the direction of assigned supervisor to achieve the goals and objectives of the Accounting Integration Project as approved by a Legislative Budget Request (LBR). The Project Manager is expected to use their skills to manage a project team of one (1) Systems Analyst, and one (1) Oracle EBS Functional Consultant.

The person in this position:Is knowledgeable in all areas of system development understanding business processes to successfully lead and manage a team to modify an existing system.Stays abreast of current industry trends and ERP technologies to oversee the design and modification of integrated auxiliary systems to meet functional and non-functional requirements.Is responsible for clear communication and coordination between stakeholders and IT leadership to successfully resolve various issues and communicate project status.Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Project Planning, Organization, ImplementationProject Control Processes, Procedures, Change ControlRisk ManagementIssue Management and trackingDeployment and Implementation PlanningQuality Assurance and Quality Control (User Acceptance Test Planning)Leadership to the project team and others, both internal and externalTeam Management and Assignment TrackingMonitoring contractor performance in producing quality deliverables on timeCommunications Management, including team, stakeholders, and external entitiesMaintaining Project SchedulesServe as a single point of contact for reporting project statusProvide detailed and summary reporting of project statusRequirements management while facilitating the gathering of detailed requirements in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessionsMake recommendations for executive action when requiredEnsure compliance with policies and proceduresEnsure system design conforms to Rule 60-GGCoordinate effectively with Information Technology Services (ITS) staff required to support the projectEffectively work with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), BSP, IFS throughout the software development life cycle to complete the projectAssist Program Manager with all necessary RAMS documentationAttend Steering and Oversight Committee Meetings and provide Status Updates as neededDeliverables:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related Information Technology (IT) fieldsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationMinimum of 7 years of work experience managing successful, large-scale IT projectsExperience managing a minimum of 3 full lifecycle Oracle EBS R12 implementation projectsExperience managing large system IT projects through all phases of the software development lifecycleExperience managing IT projects in the range of NAM to NA0MExperience managing IT teams with diverse assignments such as business analysts, database analysts, application architects, software developers, and hardware supportExperience using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologiesExperience performing differing test methodologies in IT projectsExtensive experience using Microsoft Project to develop and maintain detailed project schedulesExperience in delivering projects in the agreed scope, schedule, and budgetExcellent oral and written communication skillsProject Planning & Organizational SkillsExceptional interpersonal skills.Extensive collaboration skills with stakeholdersAbility to facilitate JAD sessionsExperience with determining system requirements from stakeholdersExperience presenting project status updates to differing audiences for their understandingAbility to effectively lead a project team to meet project objectivesUnderstands the complexities of ERP systems and provides guidance for the development teamPreferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Government, Law Enforcement, or Public Safety IT projectsMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related IT fields or equivalent Project Management work experienceExperience managing Oracle EBS R12 development projectsKnowledge of various modules in Oracle EBS ERP systemExperience in data conversion projects
