General Purpose Of The Job: Works with Journeyman and others in the installation and maintenance of plant equipment and other work as assigned. Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.Â
Other duties may be assigned.Â
Â
1) Operates and observes the operation of conveying equipment, coal breakers, and recipocating loaders. Â
2) Assists with theÂ
and unloading of coal in the coal handling system. Â
3) Reads weightometer. Â
4) Keeps area around conveyors clean as assigned. Â
Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions ; Uses equipment and materials properly.                                           Â
