January 2025 Data Center Cooling Intern or Co-Op

to join our team in

Andover or Boston MA . This candidate will ideally join the team for 6-8 months.

What will you do?The intern will work with Schneider's EcoStruxure IT Advisor CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software for data center cooling applications. Among other roles, they will help us develop physics-based models of chilled-water cooling equipment and systems while working with our team of research engineers and software developers. This intern will also work with power consumption modeling for data centers.

Who will you report to?This position will report directly to a Director of Thermal Analytics

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?Current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.Academic focus on or experience with CFD, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics a plusThe ability to work independently is requiredExperience with Advanced spreadsheets, Python, other programming preferredThe team is located in the Boston area; hybrid- in office presence is required at either our Boston or Andover locations. Open to either part-time intern or full-time Co-Op
