Certification Details Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required. Job Details Position / Specialty: ED RN Shift: 3x12 Nights (1845-0715) Avg. Daily Census: 175. 56 bed ED. Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend. Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No. Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager. Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. Pending License accepted: No- active IL license required to apply. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience required General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi experience required. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration. Required Neurological Case Skills/Experience: CVA, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain Injury. Required Orthopedic Skills/Experience: Manage/apply splints. Required Pediatric Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal pain, Asthma, Head injury, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Skin Disorders. Required Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: Acute Psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Suicidal patient. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tube insertion/management, Intubation. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Triage. Cerner experience required.
