We are dedicated to leveraging evolving creative tools to enhance the reading experience, making it more interactive, immersive, and engaging for young readers.About the Role:As a key member of our foundational engineering team, you will be instrumental in developing and scaling Wendy's advanced machine learning applications. Your expertise in MLOps, large language models, and image diffusion models will be vital in shaping our products and influencing our company's direction.In this role, you will:Develop and fine-tune machine learning models, specializing in large language models (LLMs) and image diffusion modelsImplement MLOps practices to ensure efficient model training, deployment, and scalingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into new projects, enhancing the interactivity of our storytelling appsContribute to the architecture and refinement of AI-driven engines for innovative storytellingPlay a pivotal role in the tech strategy, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in ML-driven children's entertainmentInfluence the product vision and engineering ethos from the early stagesYour background looks something like:5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on applied ML, MLOps, and model fine-tuningProficient in PyTorch and other relevant ML frameworksProven track record in training, tuning, deploying, and scaling LLMs and image diffusion modelsStrong skills in building and maintaining robust ML systemsExcellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for seeing projects through from conception to productionStartup experience, particularly in leadership roles, including technical guidance and team expansionExperience with Stable Diffusion, creating LoRAs, integrating ControlNetsOur tech stack is Python, Kubernetes, Postgres, Kafka, Terraform, and Swift (iOS).
