Our teams collaborate to serve the manufacturing needs of top Medical Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) globally.About this Opportunity:The Director, Strategic Accounts is responsible for developing partnerships and growing assigned customer accounts. This role requires a strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of the medical device industry, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in large account management and revenue growth.Responsibilities:Customer Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers based on trust and understanding of their business needs.Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.Partner with Vantedge Operations, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure effective communication.Lead recurring customer business reviews to ensure alignment on partnership elements.Negotiate and manage favorable customer contracts.Manage customer escalations with Operations and Leadership.Strategic Planning, Demand Planning & Market Research:Develop and execute Strategic Account Growth Plans to meet revenue targets.Stay informed on customers’ strategies and market focus.Provide strategic counsel to Vantedge leadership on market trends.Monitor customer demand patterns and provide input to financial forecasting.Business Development:Understand and execute the Vantedge go-to-market strategies.Communicate Vantedge capabilities and develop business development strategies.Support the quoting process as the customer liaison.Provide pricing strategy recommendations.Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.Understand customer decision-making processes and ensure alignment.Host customer events to broaden awareness of Vantedge capabilities.Maintain the CRM system with growth opportunities and customer communications.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and speaking engagements.New Product Introduction and Sustaining Manufacturing Support:Team with new product introduction and sustaining production teams to ensure effective customer communication.Requirements / Skills:10+ years of experience in global account management.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; engineering degree is a plus.Experience in medical device manufacturing environments.Deep understanding of assigned markets and regulatory requirements.Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce.com).High proficiency in MS Office software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.High proficiency in English.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a related field.Proficiency in project management tools.Alignment with Vantedge Values: Customer Focus, Agility, Collaboration, Integrity, Innovation & Ownership.Exhibit a competitive drive and desire to win.Other:Ensure training requirements are up to date.Adhere to the company Code of Conduct Policy.
