Job Responsibilities

Providing quality care as an RN in post-acute care facilitiesCreating care plans by collaborating with medical staff and residentsDelivering the best treatments and administration of medications to each residentReviewing care options and outcomes with physicians and other staffEducating residents and family members about best options for careSetting up, monitoring medical equipment as neededMaking sure staff is compliant with nursing standards and facility policiesDrawing fluids, such as blood and urine, for lab analysisTraining and supervising nurses and support staffEnsuring the accurate documentation of medical interventions and historiesHelping staff with incident investigations

Qualifications and Skills

Current Ohio state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)Completion of an approved nursing programAt least 4 months' experience in either post-acute care or in-patient hospital settingsStrong communication and organizational skills
