$43-$45 per visit1:1 therapist-to-patient ratios where you impact outcomesCompetitive, Weekly pay with Direct Deposit availableFlexible assignments to fit your needsHoliday and PTO pay for full time employeesMedical, dental, vision and supplemental benefits availableSupportive, caring management that will have your back!Continuing education benefits and discounted courses through Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen UniversityCompany field employees who are paid mileage or have a leased vehicle are eligible for a retention bonus plan during two bonus periods.As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength and functionality due to an illness or injuryWork as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT and SLP, focused on the patient’s plan of care and goalsAct at the direction and under the supervision of the treating Physical Therapist and in accordance with the plan of careAssist the treating Physical Therapist in documenting exercises in patient's chart and printing out exercises for home as directed by treating Physical TherapistParticipate in educating the patient and the family with exercises under the direct supervision of the treating Physical Therapist, and other caregiversA few must-haves for Home Health Physical Therapists:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program and active PTA license in ColoradoMinimum of one (1) year of physical therapy assistant experience preferably in a home healthcare settingCPR Certification (demonstration course required)Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)Knowledge of state and federal home health regulationsGood clinical judgement, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity and compassionWhy Work for Interim HealthCare?Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation’s first home care company and a leading employer of Home Health Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
