The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our private cloud-based risk management platform, Advanced Collateral Management System (ACMS). The team is in the process of building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation cloud-based platform. When it is completed, the application should support processing several billions of inquiry transactions during market hours. What You Are Good At Evaluating complex user requests and clarifying and communicating the objectives in a clear and concise manner Conducting and preparing feasibility studies for new and existing applications Leading projects with moderate complexity and scope Making a positive influence on your team members and peers Providing technical expertise Working on Proof Of Concepts (POCs) using new/emerging technology/tools What you have To ensure that we fulfill our promise of challenging the status quo, this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field 4 years of experience in a software development role Experience with full stack application development technologies, RESTful APIs, Relational and Document-Based databases, and Cloud technologies 5 years of coding experience in C#/.NET Experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Aerospike (NoSQL) database, Splunk (logging), JSON/XML, PCF (Cloud), Agile Practices etc. Experience being a technical lead for a team and/or project Ability to produce detailed design with help from leads and architects and communicate the design to the necessary stakeholders Ability to coordinate with teams across different geographic locations Preferred Qualifications: The ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders The ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills The ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment Expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to front end system integration with Pega/Appian BPM tools Familiarity with Schwab Technology ecosystem Whats in it for you At Schwab, were committed to empowering our employees personal and professional success.
