Certification Details BLS, ACLS & PALS are required. As of 1/5/2022 all travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Any traveler declining the COVID-19 vaccine, must be approved for a medical/religious exemption by their agency. Job Details The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available. Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Job Requirements Must have Level 1 Trauma experience. Must have previous traveler experience. Minimum 2 years ED experience required. BLS, ACLS & PALS are required. May rotate to Emergency Transitional Care Unit. Will care for Covid patients. Could float as needed. Epic experience required. Schedule Information Nights-3p or 7p-7:30a with Weekends and Holiday as needed. Block scheduling cannot be approved. Unit Specific Information Must have Level 1 Trauma experience. May rotate to Emergency Transitional Care Unit. Additional Details NICOTINE-FREE FACILITY. WELLSPAN WILL NOT CONSIDER CANDIDATES THAT HAVE HAD LICENSE SUSPENDED ANYTIME IN THE PAST - DO NOT SUBMIT THESE PROFILES. All time off and/or scheduling requests must be included in the submission. Candidates cannot be considered if they have been employed as a perm hire at any WellSpan site within the year. WellSpan requires the flu vaccine from September 7 - April 30.
