Roles & Responsibilities as an Architect10+ years of Test Automation experience with at least 5 Years in role of Automation ArchitectExperience in creating enterprise Test automation strategy & Road map, Capacity PlanningContribute to the design & architecture of automation projectsExcellent knowledge of Building and creating & maintaining Test Automation FrameworksExcellent in Oral, written communication & Documentation SkillsAssist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting is effective and efficient.Customer Facing Experience is a mustShould have very strong analytical skills and should be able to see the test automation architecture as a whole system and not as individual components and should be able to drive to benefit from its contents for future usage.Agile/Lean methodologies experiencePromote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practicesLead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools and templatesWork with teams on the automation Strategy and the Tool Kit SelectionDo Code reviews, verify coding standards are being met.Work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project ManagementAble to shadow developers and document the test Plan, test scripts, test scenarios etcHands-on ability to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructureAssess the problem statement and arrive at the innovative solutions.Mentor junior and senior software quality engineers.Experience in working with Geographically Dispersed Teams.Primary Skills
Expertise in Selenium - Test automationExperience in treasury domain or capital market domain is a must.Excellent knowledge of web services and API test automation using Rest Assured/ SOAP UI JarsBDD with CucumberShould be strong hands-on Core Java/ GroovyKnowledge in CI tools like Bamboo/ JenkinsExperience / knowledge in BDD based automation using CucumberExperience in Database testingExperience in Built tools like Gradle or Maven, etcSecondary Skills
Experience in C# or Python will be an added advantage.
