Spherion, in partnership with our client in Duluth, MN, is searching for a Production Worker/Forklift Operator associate. This role serves as the Primary Operator in the mix room department, cross-trains, and performs other duties as assigned. This is a temp to hire role.Work Hours: 8:00AM- 4:00pm, Monday-FridayResponsibilities:Prepare and mix emulsions/chemicals using tanks, agitation, and filtering equipment.Clean equipment after use.Maintain raw material inventory.Complete documentation of mixes.Work varying hours as needed.Lift and move up to 50 pounds.Pass a job-related math skills assessment.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED6 months of verifiable forklift experience is a must.Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve problems with concrete variables.1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands:Standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing.Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required.Apply today!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
