Get to Know This Role
The Delivery Driver is a key position operating within our Chico Route team. This active position is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. products to local on and off-premise accounts. The ideal candidate will enjoy spending the majority of their shift lifting, pushing, and pulling cases and kegs of products using pallet jacks and hand trucks, while also building and maintaining relationships through a commitment to customer service. This role is responsible for stocking and rotating products on shelves and collecting payment for orders.

What You Will Do
Drive route truck to deliver beer to on-and off-premise accounts in the Chico, CA area; lifts, carries, and places stock on shelves, racks or cold boxes repeatedly throughout the shift, weights up to 180 pounds; rotates beer by date while stockingDevelop and maintain strong relationships with accounts; inform accounts of new products and/or services; resolve service complaintsCollect payments from customers and record transactions on customer receipt; issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or deliverySet up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customersUnload truck manually with a pallet jack or hand truck, any packages or kegs that need to be returned to the warehouseRotate delivered products in a customer's place of business to ensure product freshnessPerform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer; maintain cleanliness of truckOperate all equipment in a safe, responsible and professional mannerAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationAbility to effectively communicate with co-workers and other departments on work-related issues in a timely mannerPlease Apply if You Have
