Position: Network Security Architect

Locations: Richmond, VA

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Network Design and Implementation:

Architect and implement secure and scalable network solutions aligned with business objectives. Utilize industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies to optimize network performance and security.Network Detection and Response (NDR):

Develop and implement NDR strategies to detect and respond to threats. Deploy and configure NDR tools to monitor network traffic, analyze anomalies, and mitigate security incidents promptly.Network Segmentation:

Define and implement network segmentation strategies to compartmentalize network resources and limit the impact of security breaches. Design and deploy segmentation controls to enforce access policies and isolate critical assets.Data Loss Protection (DLP):

Leverage hands-on experience with DLP solutions such as Forcepoint, Zscaler, and others to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, exfiltration, and leakage. Configure and manage DLP policies to monitor and control data movement across the network.User & Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA):

Utilize UEBA tools and techniques to detect and analyze anomalous behavior patterns indicative of security threats. Develop and fine-tune UEBA models to identify insider threats, compromised accounts, and other malicious activities.Security Policy Enforcement:

Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Hands-on experience with Network Detection and Response (NDR) solutions.Proficiency in network segmentation techniques and methodologies.Extensive experience with Data Loss Protection (DLP) software such as Forcepoint, Zscaler, etc.Familiarity with User & Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) tools and concepts.Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security technologies.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
