Salary: $19 - $21 per hour

Overview:

We are seeking proactive and dedicated Inside Sales Representatives to join our team in Wheatland, PA. Reporting to the Inside Sales Supervisor, the Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for our customers, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of Wheatland’s capabilities and product offerings, with the ability to effectively promote new sales initiatives.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster and manage superior customer relationships through open and interactive communication, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Order Management: Review customer backlog daily, proactively addressing and resolving potential customer service issues. Prepare and process quotes, enter orders, and coordinate shipments.
  • Team Collaboration: Build and maintain effective and professional interdepartmental relationships, adopting a team approach to customer service. Collaborate with the outside sales team to gather and triangulate market intelligence.
  • Customer Experience: Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, implementing action items and potential solutions to enhance service quality.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze Wheatland’s pricing and market strategy, driving actions to achieve sales objectives. Participate and contribute to regular conference calls, both internal and external.
  • Quality Assurance: Coordinate responses to quality claims, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution. Assist management with special projects as required.
  • Professionalism: Project professionalism in representing the organization, both internally and externally. Provide backup support for other inside sales representatives.
  • Attendance: Maintain regular and predictable full-time, onsite attendance during scheduled hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • Customer Service experience
  • Driven, articulate, personable, accountable
  • Analytical Skills: Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Mathematics skills
  • Organization
  • MS Office including Excel, Work, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience in manufacturing or industrial sales
  • Experience with SAP
