Payroll Tax Analyst

Qualifications

• Several years of Payroll Tax experience
• Previous experience with Payroll systems
  • Several years multi-state, multi-jurisdictional payroll tax experience with a focus on Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Indiana and LS and OP taxes preferred
  • Previous experience with payroll tax or unemployment return processing is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll efficiently and accurately including: maintaining related payroll records filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updated procedures, and preparing special reports for management while accomplishing these and other critical functions
• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into the payroll system.
• Reviews wages computed and corrects errors prior to process of payroll.
• Responds to payroll related inquiries.
• Company-wide researches and responds to Federal and State tax inquiries
