We are a leading manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machining, with a particular focus on CNC, lathe, mill, and 3, 4, and 5-axis machine setups.

Responsibilities:

1. Setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to create precision parts and instruments.
2. Interpreting blueprints, planning sheets, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to set up machines correctly.
3. Utilizing various tools and equipment such as lathes, mills, boring machines, and Marposs probing systems.
4. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and execute machining strategies.
5. Conducting regular maintenance and calibration of machines to ensure optimal performance.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions that may arise during the machining process.
7. Working with Co-Bots and Doosan machinery to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
9. Continually seeking opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine setups, including lathes, mills, and 3, 4, and 5-axis machines.
2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and planning sheets.
3. Extensive knowledge of GD&T principles.
4. Experience with Marposs probing systems, Co-Bots, and Doosan machinery is a strong advantage.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
9. Willingness to stay updated on new machining technologies and techniques.
