Are you a seasoned paralegal with a passion for justice and a knack for detail? We are seeking a Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in case management, litigation support, document review, and family law. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Paralegal, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Assisting attorneys in preparation for hearings and trials, including researching legal precedents and investigating facts.
  2. Managing and organizing case files and documents efficiently, ensuring all case-related materials are readily accessible for attorneys.
  3. Providing litigation support, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  4. Conducting comprehensive document review and analysis to assist in the identification, retrieval, and production of legal documents.
  5. Coordinating and managing the delivery of subpoenaed documents and other legal correspondence.
  6. Offering support in family law matters, including drafting documents, conducting research, and liaising with clients.
  7. Assisting in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures.
  8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal regulations and industry trends to provide accurate information and advice to clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Paralegal position will possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong background in case management, litigation support, document review, and family law.
  2. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  3. Exceptional research and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately.
  4. Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
  5. Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
  7. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to the firm’s success.
