Are you a seasoned paralegal with a passion for justice and a knack for detail? We are seeking a Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in case management, litigation support, document review, and family law. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Paralegal, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting attorneys in preparation for hearings and trials, including researching legal precedents and investigating facts.
- Managing and organizing case files and documents efficiently, ensuring all case-related materials are readily accessible for attorneys.
- Providing litigation support, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conducting comprehensive document review and analysis to assist in the identification, retrieval, and production of legal documents.
- Coordinating and managing the delivery of subpoenaed documents and other legal correspondence.
- Offering support in family law matters, including drafting documents, conducting research, and liaising with clients.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal regulations and industry trends to provide accurate information and advice to clients.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Paralegal position will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong background in case management, litigation support, document review, and family law.
- A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional research and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately.
- Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to the firm’s success.
