Job Details:
We are seeking a motivated and seasoned Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to provide high-quality, personalized care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual therapy, rehab, rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation. This full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal conditions and provide recommendations for care management.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient performance.
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs by offering comprehensive physical therapy services.
- Provide manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education to patients and families about injury prevention, ergonomics, and home exercises.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current with the latest physical therapy techniques and advancements.
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy.
- Take an active role in patient advocacy and work to improve the patient experience.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Expertise in manual therapy, rehab, rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation.
- Current licensure or certification to practice physical therapy in the state.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to foster effective patient relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to manage multiple patient caseloads effectively.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software.
- A strong commitment to patient care and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field.
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the demands of physical therapy procedures.
