Childcare teachers, staff, and childrenRESPONSIBILITIES:
The director is accountable for day-to-day operation of the program and is responsible for:Maintaining a program that meets or exceeds requirementsImproving quality of careImplementing program development and evaluationEnsuring personnel and volunteers comply with requirementsSupervising the conduct of personnel, volunteers, and other individuals providing services in the programAppointing and informing the personnel in charge when the director is not present at the facilityOverseeing parent communication and family engagementPresent at the facility during the hours of operation at least 50% of the operating hours or 30 hours per week, whichever is lessPROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
Completes DHS compliance review form within 1 monthObtains and maintains CPR and first aid certifications within 3 months30 clock hours of professional development annuallyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects.
