Tunxis Grill is a staple in the town of Windsor, known for its comfortable atmosphere and variety of menu options. We offer a dining room, bar, and lounge for dining and frequently host parties and events. We are looking for a Manager to join our team and help us continue to provide excellent service to our guests. Salary starting at $50,000 a year and will be based on experience.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have management experience in a high-volume restaurant and be able to work with the whole staff to create a memorable experience for every guest that comes to Tunxis Grill.
Must be able to work 50 hours a week and have weekend availability.
Shifts include opening, mid, and closing.
Duties:
A Manager will use their knowledge of restaurant operations to provide assistance to the General Manager, kitchen staff, servers, hosts, bussers, and takeout staff.
Ensure the restaurant has smooth dining room openings and closings.
Able to operate a successful dining room during high volume times.
Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, focusing on small and large details creating a refined guest experience.
Provide strong leadership and direct supervision to the staff, handling any issues promptly within our policies and guidelines.
Handle cash outs according to company procedures.
Ability to respond quickly to a guest's need, providing genuine hospitality with a friendly demeanor.
Lead, manage, and train staff on exceptional service to guests.
Facilitate communication between the Chef and service staff as needed.
Ability to give and welcome feedback to help improve policies while supporting everyone's needs within the restaurant.
Accurately follow proper sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant.
Conduct interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions as needed for Front of House staff.
