Travel75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS2 years’ experience current required in a 15 plus bed intensive care unit required.CERTS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) test will be dismissed.
SHIFTS: 12 hour varied position - Start time - 0700/1900 On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed - At alternate location-Will float to progressive care unit and med/surg. Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.310992About PHP
