Dr. Bonny’s Occupational Therapy, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time OTRlL for In-Home based early intervention occupational therapy in the EAST Los Angeles Areas: Service areas are in East Los Angeles: Alhambra, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, Montebello, Whittier, La Miranda, and Diamond Bar.

We are seeking a new OTR/Lto join our team. Ideal opportunity to provide quality one-on-one intervention for children with a wide range of developmental disorders. bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team providing quality pediatric evaluations and treatments to young children. We are searching for a passionate, motivated pediatric OTR/L who has specialties in working with the birth to 3 years old early intervention ranges, as well as experience with OT feeding, and sensory integration. We are looking for a *full-time or part-time* OTR/L to join our collaborative interdisciplinary team. Desirable candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well as part of a team, strong written and verbal communication skills.

We are an upbeat, competent group of therapists who enjoy working with kids and making meaningful gains in the lives of the families we serve. We welcome like-minded, talented therapists to join our team. Early Intervention and/or Preschool-Age experience a plus.

*Supervision and Support*

Supervision is provided by a licensed and certified Doctor of Occupational Therapist. Clinic and In-home scheduling is completed by the administrative staff.

*Duties*

The following specification provides a summary of the typical job duties performed, along with the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this classification. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

· Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.

· Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers.

· Assessing the home, school and work environments of the client.

· Helping children take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.

· Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.

· Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.

· Educating on the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment

* Performs related duties as assigned.

Must have valid and current CA OTR License

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour/per session

Schedule:

* Flexible shifts (Approx. 8 hour shift)

Education:

· Graduate of an accredited program whose curriculum follows guidelines set forth by the AOTA.

License/Certification:

* OTR License
