- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Provide direct patient care based on individual needs.
- Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in patients' conditions, intervening as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure continuity of care by effectively communicating with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and care plans. Provide support and guidance to help them manage their health effectively.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of patients, ensuring that they receive respectful, compassionate, and dignified care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience is preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- BLS and ACLS certification is required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), and a commitment to patient-centered care.
