**As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform thorough inspections and tests on our HVAC products and raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality through various QC procedures, including batch inspections, product sampling, and inline auditing.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties

**

  • Conduct batch inspections and product sampling to evaluate quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform raw materials and product validation testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Execute inline audits of materials and products during the manufacturing process.

Validate and verify processes to maintain quality assurance throughout production.

  • Measure and calibrate tools and equipment to ensure accuracy in testing.
  • Identify and document flaws or deficiencies in finished products or materials, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement continuous improvement initiatives and quality enhancement strategies.
  • Utilize tools such as calipers, ammeters, bore gauges, and measuring tapes for inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and results using software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Assist in training and mentoring new QC staff on procedures and best practices.

**Skills and Qualifications

**

  • Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, 5S/6S methodologies, or a CQI certification is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Demonstrated physical stamina and strength to perform inspections and tests.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus on tasks to identify defects.

**Physical Demands

**

This job operates in a professional manufacturing plant environment.You may be exposed to loud noises or fumes in the plant facility. Proper PPE is provided if required and must be utilized. If it is not needed, the right PPE gear is available should you want to use it.

Salary info:

$23 - $26 / hr
