Title: Financial Analyst(2511)

Location: Indianapolis, IN(Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Pay Rate: $35.00 42.00/hr. on W2

This role will work closely with Corporate and local financial and managerial leaders, and involves significant business partnering with business units, global manufacturing sites, GBS GA & Capital Assets, Global Treasury and Corporate Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will leverage their educational/technical background and leadership abilities to support Clients global capital processes and steer process improvements, and to develop a deeper understanding of and ability to challenge the capital cashflow forecasts/plans. The candidate will actively lead our monthly management reporting closing, planning, and forecasting of capital expenditures, in addition to understanding and prioritizing ad hoc requests.

Key Objectives/Deliverables

1) Execution and Support of Global Capital Planning and Reporting

o Complete monthly close and management reporting processes, quarterly forecast for global capital expenditures

o Maintain Capital Dashboard to meet the capital reporting needs of the business, ensure data is accurate, and work with end users on any enhancements or issues affecting the tool

o Liaise with other finance functions regarding reporting, planning/forecasting of capital expenditures Treasury, Corporate Financial Reporting, Corporate Financial Planning, Mfg Finance and Mfg Senior leadership (including creating slides for the Executive Committee and Board related to capital spend)

o Liaise with and influence all functions and BUs particularly engineering management and strategic facilities planning to review, challenge, and update project cash flow forecasts

o Individual capital analyses as requested by Sr. VP- Engineering and Sr. VP & CFO Mfg. Finance

o Advise regarding capital finance processes to users in all functions / geographies.

o Maintain SOx compliance regarding Capital activities.

o Work with Corporate Finance to accurately calculate Capital Cash Flow at quarter and year-end

2) Global owner of Capital Asset Planning System (CAPS)

o Assist in forecast accuracy and analysis of future cash flows

o Import CIR (Capital Investment Requests) and SAP actual spend data monthly.

o Maintain / update site data tables.

o Maintain / update site Capital stewards and user access.

o Provide end user support

o Oversee any necessary IT testing for new enhancements / fixes

Quals--

BA in Finance or Accounting

Minimum 5 years work experience

Strong Knowledge of Excel and SAP, familiarity with SAP capital modules is a plus

Finance and accounting experience (PFR processes, accruals, capital vs. expense, business case analyses, NPV)

Excellent teamwork skills, as the role coordinates with many individuals for capital related activities and works on collaborative team projects.

Ability to handle multiple initiatives at the same time

Accountable to organize and execute work independently often with time constraints and deadlines

Strong problem solving and prioritization skills with ability to demonstrate innovative ideas and concepts

Superior interpersonal and communication skills, as the role supports global capital community and has frequent interactions with senior leadership.

Must be able to influence decisions to accomplish planning goals across all functions and at all levels of the company.

High learning agility and desire to learn.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
