Production Worker

Now Hiring: Production WorkerJob Description•Lift various items intermittently, with assistance provided for weights exceeding 35 pounds.•Operate computer equipment and precision measuring instruments.•Sit in chairs (swivel, padded, and adjustable).•Squat or crouch to retrieve stored items from lower shelves and file cabinets, inspect equipment/products, etc.•Stand intermittently.•Clean work areas and maintain a clean work environment; perform 5S cleaning activities as required.•Assemble wax patterns using various skills outlined below.•Refer to work instructions, identification, and machine stock areas to prevent under or overworking patterns.•Hand stock patterns to engineering instructions and effectively communicate information to the team and engineering.•Perform other work-related duties as assigned.•Communicate scrap to injection.•Apply cast raised numbers.•Perform Apply, Rub Down, Final Assembly processes.•Apply wax to acceptable Product Criteria limits.Hard SkillsOperating computer equipmentUsing precision measuring instrumentsAssembling according to blueprintsSoft SkillsEffective communicationTeam collaborationAttention to detailCreatively inclinedWork SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Hampton, Virginia.Work EnvironmentLarge manufacturing facility, 500 employees, heavy industrial, hot areas due to machinesAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
