General DescriptionThe RN is responsiblefor providing direct patient care
within all 3/scope of practice within surgical services

OR/Circulator3.PACU.The RN will function asa primary care giver, an must be able to function in all three areas.40/hr.work week,Rotationalcall, weekdays, weekends, & Holidays.ResponsibilityConducts assessments,documents care, provides emotional support, coordinates transfers, recoverspatients, circulates cases, assist with processing instruments/equipment incentral sterilizing and prepares patients for surgery.
Assist otherstaff members and provides patient education.
Knowledge of and/orinterest in technical procedures and care.
Adheres to principles ofinfection control and general policies of the department.
Follows nationalstandards thru IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, and ASPAN.Accountability
Reports directly to the Surgical ServicesManager and/or her designee.
Special DemandsMental:
Able to perform effectivelyin highly stressful situations.
Able tointeract effectively with a wide variety of people and have good communicationskills.Physical:
Long periods of standing, walking, and heavylifting.
Exposure to blood and bodyfluids, unpleasant sights, smells and infectious diseases possible.Qualifications
Education:
RNgraduate with current Coloradolicensure.Experience:
3 Years Pre-op/OR/PACU experience preferred.Skills:
ACLScertification, CNOR preferred, scrub experience preferred also.Employment Variables
DT-Trak Consulting Inc. Job ID #277331. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.Benefits
