We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team.*
_*Job Summary:*_ The LCSW or LPC will use their skills and talents to provide person centered clinical supports including evaluations, and individual and group therapy that meets the needs of the individuals we serve. This includes creating new and innovative supports and adapting therapeutic modalities as needed. Qualities of the ideal candidate:
- Self-starter who is ready to implement new supports to meet the needs of served individuals.
- Fine-tuned communication skills and experience leading interns, supporting new counselors.
- Experience in assessing problems and determining appropriate methods of treatment and implementing intervention methodologies.
- Familiarity with applying Cognitive Behavioral therapy CBT) preferred as well as additional counseling techniques.
- Must be a Medicare/Medicaid approved provider with clinical skills in counseling.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred. Experience working with the intellectual/developmental disabilities community is a plus.
*Qualifications:*- Must hold license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of NJ.
- Must be competent in utilizing various computer applications and have experience with electronic health records.
- Experience mentoring interns.
- Must be ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
