TravelEvenings 11a-715p 5-8'sOperating Room Nurse also serves as a scrub nurse when necessary. Intervenes with proper technique, procedure and safety precautions to meet individual needs of patients and families. Prepares the operative area, positions patient adjusts operative table. Evaluates and documents patient response to and outcome of care provided and revises plan of care accordingly. Ensures all supplies and equipment required are sterile and available for use. Observes any changes in the patient s condition. Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Performs other duties as required. Directs other staff when necessary, report any unusual occurrences to surgeon in charge. Ensures all medication s are administered and charted. Ensures care of specimens are labeled and secured as per policy. Schedule Notes:11am - 7:15pm shiftSkills: Language Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills. RequiredPATIENT CARERN LICENSERNSTERILEDATA COLLECTIONAdditionalEducation: Position Requirements NYS RN License Bachelor s Nursing preferred A minimum of 3+ years experience in an Operating Room setting BCLS required,Physical Demands: Involves standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing and bending. May include some repetitive motions.
