Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $18.00-$20.00/hour based on experienceCompetitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) Retirement planPaid time off - Start earning day one!Supplemental insurance optionsAn opportunity to work in a caring and supportive environment at Venza CareAccess to ongoing training and opportunities for professional developmentDiscounts on premium amenities and servicesOn-Demand Pay optionsShifts Available:Day ShiftsKey Responsibilities:Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other approved destinations.Ensure trips are completed in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.Assist residents with boarding, alighting, and securing mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers.Maintain accurate records of trips, including times, destinations, and any incidents or issues.Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and facility staff regarding transportation schedules and any changes.Qualifications:Valid driver's license in NC with a clean driving recordCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of NCExperience: Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a healthcare or senior living settingSkills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAttributes: Compassionate, patient, and able to work well under pressurePhysical Requirements:Ability to assist residents with mobility challenges, including lifting and securing wheelchairsProlonged periods of driving and sittingAbility to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to outside weather during transportationReady to drive positive change in our residents' lives?
