Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager - Scrum Master to join our growing team in the Finance industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of our innovative software solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, application development, project budgets, SaaS development and will have previously held a position leading software engineering delivery teams. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience and offers an opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Act as Scrum Master for Agile development teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and prioritize their requirements, and translate these into technical specifications for the development team.
• Manage risks and issues, and devise contingency plans as necessary.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting the adoption of Agile best practices and driving the ongoing refinement of our Agile methodology.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their understanding and adoption of Agile and Scrum principles.
• Collaborate with other project managers and scrum masters to ensure consistency and alignment of processes and practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master and familiarity with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, XP).
• Previous experience as a lead software engineer.
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
• Extensive experience managing project budgets and resources.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) would be a plus.
• Experience in the finance industry is highly desirable.
