In this role, you will be a key contributor to a team of cross-functional product development engineers by driving improvements to our IoT software.What You Will Do :Provide high level estimates for delivering new functionality to inform business decisionsCollaborate with product management, design, architecture, product security teams to elicit, decompose and manage technical requirementsIdentify, analyze and communicate program risksLead Technical Design Reviews at all product development process milestones highlighting engineering progress, issues, and risksLead the definition of interface control documents (ICDs) for Allegion software and embedded softwareProvide clear communication to technical team members as well as to other leaders and managersLead the management of the scope throughout the development lifecycleWhat You Need to Succeed :BS in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fieldAt least 5 years’ experience in IoT devices, access control, consumer products, automotive, aerospace, or medicalYou have experience in Systems Engineering processes including design by requirements, traceability, and verification and validationYou have demonstrated experience leading project teams to deliver complex programsYou bring strong engineering project management skills, including: planning and organization, stakeholder management, risk management, change management, and clear communicationYou can communicate effectively with both business leaders and development engineersYou are self-directed with high initiative and high achievement goalsYou have knowledge of cybersecurity methods and protocols, experience with cloud service architectures (AWS, Azure) and mobile SDKsYou can provide technical coaching and mentoringTravel requirements: 10%Why Work for Us?Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:You're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.The expected Base Salary Range: $123,700 - $218,700.
