IT Project Manager

Position: Senior Project ManagerLocation: Lansing, MINO C2CWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate high-impact work teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving complex projects, adhering to industry-standard project management methodologies, and collaborating closely with key stakeholders to achieve business and technical objectives.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Coordination: Design, plan, and lead effective work teams. Build a high-performing team by assigning tasks, evaluating outcomes, and providing technical support.Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project charters, work plans, and track budgets and schedules using appropriate performance metrics. Establish clear project methodologies, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure smooth execution.Stakeholder Communication: Implement a robust communication plan that ensures stakeholders and project sponsors are regularly updated on project progress, scope changes, risks, and issues.Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure any issues or barriers are quickly addressed and resolved.Scope & Resource Management: Manage project scope while negotiating and securing the necessary resources. Monitor resource allocation to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.Complex Application Development: Provide leadership in the design and implementation of complex application features, coordinating with technical teams to achieve project goals.Project Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Regularly prepare reports for upper management, outlining project status, performance metrics, and corrective actions when necessary.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing development and infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-faceted projects.Project Management Expertise: Advanced understanding of project management methodologies such as Scrum and Agile, along with demonstrated success in managing scope, schedule, and cost.Leadership & Communication Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in application development, infrastructure projects, and proficiency with various operating systems, platforms, or applications is a plus.Certification: Professional certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum Master) is highly desirable.This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-visibility projects, exercise independent judgment, and make a significant impact on the organizations success.
