Automation Technician
  • Would need to be available to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and on call as needed.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Production machines and auxiliary equipment SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS.

Perform Preventive and Corrective maintenance of Production machines and auxiliary equipment.

Record data electronically or manually (MS Office).

Support to maintain spare parts inventory and supplies required for P.M

program and daily operation.

The ability to analyze, repair, and maintain equipment.

The ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and industrial electrical problems.

The ability to set-up Production machines.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Computer literate, Automation skills required
  • Mechanical/Electrical Technical education or experience
  • Ability to read and follow prints/schematics
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs preferred
  • Minimum of 2 yrs
    experience, in manufacturing industrial field
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work with minimal amount of direct Supervision; dependable
  • Must have safety conscience work ethic
  • Non-smoking facility
