We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Human Resources Manager to join our esteemed legal firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and fostering our company's culture, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strategic mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring we attract and hire the best talent.
  3. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  4. Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  5. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  6. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  7. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  8. Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining our company's culture and work ethics.
  9. Handle employee relations issues, ensuring they are properly addressed and resolved.
  10. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  11. Manage HR budget.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role in the legal industry.
  2. In-depth knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, employee relations, etc.)
  3. Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software.
  4. Excellent interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
  5. Extensive knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  6. Experience in benefits administration, including claim resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and lead a team.
  9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification would be a plus.
