Duties of the Accounting Manager:
- Manage Financial Closings: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Perform Analyses: Conduct flux analysis for balance sheets and income statements, and provide detailed explanations to assistant controllers.
- General Ledger and Inventory Management: Take ownership of general ledger operations, focusing on assets and complex accounts, and manage inventory accounting and analysis.
- Collaboration and Compliance: Work with various departments to ensure expenses are recognized correctly and collaborate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Leadership and Process Improvement: Mentor staff, handle special projects, and create automated workflows to streamline processes.
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
- Active CPA
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience at a company over $100 million in annual revenue
- Tech savvy and driven
