Custodian

Nesco has partnered with a company in Plain City and is looking for a 1st shift Custodian to perform janitorial duties in their warehouse.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Pay: $17hr

Job Description Includes, but are not limited to: Operation of floor scrubber, sanitize common areas, trash removal, steam clean machines, dump scrap hoppers

Duties:

• Operate Floor Scrubber
• Sanitize door handles, fork trucks, garage door openers, etc
  
• Trash removal
• Steam clean machinery
  
• Keep machine and work area clean, neat and orderly
  
• Empty scrap hoppers
  
• Change filters on machines
• Maintain bathroom supplies
• Collect and Route scrap wood
• Tape floor walkways and shipping lanes
• Cobweb removal
• De-tab and de-burr parts with grinders and sander
  
• Perform and document routine cleaning of shop floor as directed
  
• General shop organization
• Reports any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
  
• Wear safety equipment and follow all safety rules and procedures as required and directed
  
• Other duties maybe required as assigned
  
• Lifting up to 50lbs

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  
• Ability to use and maintain Stand-on floor scrubber
  
• Communicate replenishment of supplies when necessary
  
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  
• Operate a lift truck
