Have you partnered with clients to create solution architectures that include cloud-based data warehouses combined with client-facing SaaS solutions?If the answer to these questions is 'yes', then we have an opportunity that might pique your interest. Our North America Sustainability team is searching for a Solution Architect focused on digital ESG solutions that help our clients accurately and efficiently monitor their global impact.At Cognizant, you would be a member of Cognizant's rapidly growing Sustainability Practice, where we help clients identify and deploy technology solutions that enable them to more accurately and efficiently monitor their ESG KPIs.Role & Responsibilities:Technical solution lead to help frame, design, and execute solutions specific to ESG business challenges covering networks, cloud, and disparate enterprise systems.Gather, synthesize, and initiate technical and customer requirements.Drive communication and alignment on the technical solution across customer product teams, internal teams - engineering, product, design, and business development teams.Crisply articulate various solution constructs, providing opportunities/challenges with solution constructs covering business needs.Contribute to the creation of solution accelerators and frameworks for the ESG sector.Work on industry-standard platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and know the various solution constructs of the platforms - compute, security, compliance, and regulatory aspects. Develop various design solution patterns for these.Be flexible in different role plays - solution architect, product owner, tech lead/coach to teams.Lead and guide project teams and ensure smooth delivery, identifying upfront architectural constraints and mapping with the design constraints.Ability to crisply articulate and convince technical teams in aligning to the architecture goals is critical.Requirements and Required Skills:12-20+ years of experience in software engineering and information technology with a strong cloud (AWS/Azure) background.Must have hands-on experience with AWS or Azure PaaS and cloud architecture.Preferable to have deep client experience with implementing and designing ESG platforms and related services in AWS or Azure, API, and UI Development stack.Preferable working knowledge of popular ESG SaaS platforms like Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.Optional working knowledge of Microsoft MSM, IBM Envizi.Preferable to have ETL Tool/Stack Experience like Apache Spark/Databricks/Talend.Strong communication and presentation skills required to be in front of clients and present various strategies in component and data models.Must have worked in designing and developing API integration needs, API definition and design, and modeling of various performance areas.Knowledge of database design, source code testing frameworks, and build pipelines is required.Experience with CICD tools and release pipelines, on Cloud, JIRA, SonarQube, Git, or any standard repository like Bitbucket, Jenkins is required.Experience interfacing with global teams.Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.Experience leveraging microservices and container technologies.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AWS/Azure IaC, PowerShell scripts.Experience with ESG implementation in Tier 1-3 Corporations.Familiarity with Enterprise integration components - one of CRM, ECM, EDM, ERP solutions is highly desirable.
