JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Solution Architect (SSA) will be a network and security consultant focusing on pre-sales solution design. The role will partner with sales teams to understand client goals and design solutions to exceed the expectations of the organizations they support. The SSA will lead technical presentations, providing thought leadership and technical expertise within network and security. The SSA will collaborate with Trace3 engineers, architects, and industry-leading OEM teams to stay current as a subject matter expert.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Partner with sales to provide technical solutions based on business and technology needs

Lead pre-sales solution design for network and security products and solutions

Collaborate with Trace3 engineers and architects to build solutions around Cloud, Infrastructure, and Data

Prepare and present demos and training sessions for network and security solutions

Interface with the internal Trace3 Network practice and Security Business Unit

Interface with clients to perform Proof of Concepts/Proof of Values

Develop a Bill of Material (BOM)/proposal and provide recommendations using manufacturing tools

Develop Statements of Work (SoW) and provide an accurate Level of Effort (LOE) for Security Technology services opportunities

Maintain core partner and other vendor programs or certifications needed to support security products

Mentor and support other Solution Architects in opportunities that require network and security expertise on an as-needed basis

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS degree or higher preferred (or equivalent level of education)

A minimum of 5 years experience providing engineering and professional services for organizations

Prior experience working in the solution provider industry, VAR, or Systems Integrator designing technology solutions

CCNA, CCNP, HPE Aruba, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto, or other relevant industry certifications preferred.

Knowledge and familiarity with discipline areas, including Data Center Network and Campus Network Architecture, Wireless Design, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, and NGFW.

Comfort level and ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management and leadership

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical issues to a non-technical audience

Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment

Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment

Motivated self-starter who loves to troubleshoot and solve challenging problems and feels comfortable working directly with customers and team members
