Graphic Designer

to plan, analyze, and create a variety of visual solutions and products in both print and electronic formats. This individual will act as a creative resource, collaborating closely with the Government to define design needs and present innovative visual options and solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design and produce visual content for various media, including print and digital formats, while adhering to project specifications.Serve as a creative consultant to assist the Government in identifying design needs and offering visual solutions.Review all design products for content accuracy, ensuring alignment with provided information before submitting finished materials.Copy edit Government-provided content to enhance clarity and consistency.Offer suggestions for text edits to improve readability, structure, and flow of information.Ensure that all designs comply with Government policies, standards, and procedures.Manage relationships with print vendors, negotiating costs, and overseeing print production.

Requirements:

A

Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.)

or related degree in design, advertising, marketing, or a similar field.A minimum of

four (4) years of experience

in graphic design, advertising, or a combination of graphic design, desktop publishing, and illustration.Proficiency in

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)

is essential.Experience with 508 compliance efforts.Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.Mostly remote, but preferably based in the Washington D.C. area for occasional in-person meetings.Preferred to have existing VA clearance: VA GFE = Government-furnished equipment and PIV = VA Personal Identity Verification Card.This role is ideal for a creative professional with a passion for visual storytelling and an ability to work closely with clients to deliver exceptional design solutions.Location:

Hybrid in Washington D.C.
